What is Faith Over Fitness™?

Faith Over Fitness™ is a Christ-centered fitness movement built on one conviction: physical excellence belongs under the authority of Jesus Christ. Fitness is a gift from God, and our identity is rooted in Him. Through Scripture-based reflection, practical daily actions, and the free PUT IT UNDER. declaration experience, we help you live that order in training and everyday life.

It is for Christians who love fitness and anyone open to exploring what it means to put Jesus Christ first.

  1. Every good thing is a gift from God.
  2. A gift can quietly take His place.
  3. Measuring up was never your burden to carry.
  4. Put it under Him, be your best, and give Him the glory.

Train the Gift. Worship the Giver.

Christ invites the weary to come to Him. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Matthew 11:28–30 (NIV) — opens in a new tab

We are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Discipline and service flow from that grace; they cannot earn salvation. Ephesians 2:8–10 (NIV) — opens in a new tab

Step 2 · Put It Under

Everyone has an “IT.”Name yours.

A pursuit to put in its proper place. A burden to entrust to Christ. Name what needs to come under His authority, and create a declaration that makes that order visible.

Placing it under Christ doesn’t mean caring less. It means carrying less.

  1. 01Name it.Choose from the library or use your own words.
  2. 02Put it under.Create your image beneath the Cross and OVER line.
  3. 03Live the order.Choose one faithful action. Share your declaration if you wish.

Your reflections stay on your device unless you choose to post them. Posting to the Wall is a separate, optional choice.

This is an act of reordering, not a ritual. It does not save, prove faith, or end a struggle by itself.

Step 3 · Live Free

Let the conviction change a choice.

Compete. Train hard. Become your best. Then give Him the praise for what He allowed. Start with one ordinary moment today.

  • Before you train

Thank God for what He has entrusted to you and ask Him to govern your motives.

  • When priorities compete

Identify one responsibility your training schedule needs to honor this week.

  • At the mirror

Choose one way to care for your body today without comparing it with someone else’s.

Step 4 · Share It

Give Him the glory. Share it with your world.

Sharing this isn’t promoting a brand. It is giving God the glory, in public, for what He has given you.

Share your declaration

Post it to your own feed or story, or send it to Faith Over Fitness™ to be considered for our official social media and the Wall.

Carry the reminder · The Mirror Decal Campaign

It’s a gift. Not a god.

A small reminder in a familiar place can begin a conversation about what comes first. Help carry the message into your gym, community, or language. Register your interest. Decal availability and participation details will be announced as they are confirmed.

A man with a towel over his shoulders studies his reflection in a locker-room mirror. A small decal near the mirror’s upper-left corner reads “It’s a gift. Not a god.”

Christ belongs above the founder, the achievement, the company, and the movement.

What does it mean to be part of Faith Over Fitness™?
Notice what’s over what. Put it under Christ. Live free and strive well. Give Him the glory, and share the message with your world. There is no fee or membership. Signing up for updates is optional, and following Christ is a response to Him, not to a brand.
Does this mean competing or wanting to be my best is wrong?
No. Competition, hard training and becoming your best are good in their rightful order. Every good thing we enjoy, including fitness, health, success and accomplishment, is a gift from God. Put it under Him, give your best, and give Him the praise.
Do I need an account or email address to create a declaration?
No. You can create and download your declaration without an account or email address. Email updates and community submission are separate, optional choices.
Will my declaration or reflections appear publicly?
Creating an image does not publish it. Your reflection answers stay in your browser unless you choose to post them with your declaration. You decide whether to share the image yourself or post your declaration to the PUT IT UNDER. Wall, where a person reviews it first. Permission for Faith Over Fitness™ to feature it on social media is a separate choice.
Is a declaration a spiritual requirement?
No. It is a way to name an intention and act on it. It does not save, prove faith, or end a struggle by itself. Follow it with prayer and practical obedience to Christ.
